Indera sensor line

Status: STUB (2026-07-05). Lifts from: v4.1 §26 (module table, ESPHome/MQTT/BLE/LoRa architecture).

Purpose

The sensor module family spec: Suara (meeting-room mic array), Mata (down-facing document camera, privacy by orientation), Alam (outdoor bioacoustics, solar + LoRa), Tanah (soil moisture/temperature). Declarative ESPHome firmware, local Mosquitto broker so sensing works fully offline, aksara-cli sensor namespace as the tool surface.

Outline

  1. Common platform: ESP32 module family, ESPHome configs, BLE pairing, MQTT topics schema, LoRa profile for remote modules
  2. Per-module spec: hardware, firmware config, data schema, privacy notes (no face cameras in default configurations)
  3. aksara sensor namespace: read, subscribe, threshold-alert verbs; Home Assistant interop path
  4. Alam specifics: BirdNET-class classification on node, signed observation records (feeds Penjaga persona, roadmap), evidence chain-of-custody
  5. Tanah specifics: penyuluhan vertical integration (SIMLUHTAN, e-RDKK data prep)

Open questions

  • Alam demo: can a BirdNET-Analyzer run on a phone recording of Papuan forest audio serve as a zero-cost vertical demo?
